The Mayor of the Nicosia Turkish Municipality, Cemal Bulutoğluları published a condolence message due to the passing away of the Founder President Rauf Raif Denktaş.

Stating that the great leader Denktaş spent his life for independence, prosperity and safety of  the Turkish Cypriots, the Mayor Bulutoğluları connoted that they will always follow his way.

Denoting that they feel the deep pain of losing a father, Bulutoğluları said “We are all his mournful children”.

 “To represent and keep him alive is our sacred duty”

Bulutoğluları highlighted that Denktaş is not only the leader of Turkish Cypriots but a leader of the whole Turkish nation. Bulutoğluları stated that Denktaş will be a pacemaker for the future generations with his fighter, leader and wise personality, love, tolerance and devotion to his country and denoted that to represent and keep him alive will be our sacred duty. Bulutoğluları finished his speech by wishing for Denktaş to rest in peace and he sent his condolences to his family and to the whole Turkish nation.
